The

phpMyIDE project

is an

open source

web-based application

for creating and maintaining

MySQL stored procedures, stored functions, triggers and views

among other things, written by Perkiset and released under the GPL. We would like it to become to

MySQL stored procedure

maintenance what

phpMyAdmin

has become to

MySQL database

administration.

Note that

phpMyIDE

is not a replacement for

phpMyAdmin

- quite the opposite in fact.

phpMyAdmin

is actually iFramed inside of the IDE so that the its capabilities are available to you while you are working on a database.

phpMyIDE is currently in a pre-alpha state meaning that many features are not yet implemented. Please consult both the Updates and Features pages for more information about the current status of the project.

Since the project is not yet completed, you should consult the Current Status page to see what is currently working, what is not, what known bugs are and [in]compatibilities.

If you are interesting in assisting, please contact Perkiset at the The Cache which is where the support forum is as well. There are a couple things that could use another expert set of eyes.
